Cancer (Hemangiosarcoma) Jack Russell Terrier ♂ Kea 15 years old

Dear Dr.Yoza:

Kea is a15 year-old Jack Russell Terrier. In April 2013, he had emergency surgery to remove his spleen, as a large tumor had ruptured, and was bleeding nto his abdomen.

The diagnosis was Hemangiosarcoma, a deadly from of canine cancer which quickly spreads to other internal organs. His life expectancy was 4-6 months, although his vet indicated that none of her patients had lived beyond 3 months.

Chemotherapy was an option, but was ruled out since it would not have given him a better quality of life. He had lost quite a bit of weight, and had lost his crazy energy that Jack Russell Terriers are known for.

My sister told me about a neighbor who was taking her dog to you for treatment, and suggested that I make an appointment for Kea. When I first heard about your treatment methods, I must admit I was quite skeptical. As an accountant, I tend to see things in black and white.

Imagine my surprise when after the very first treatment, Kea’s appetite returned with a vengeance, and he happily ran around in the yard like a young puppy. Followup visits to the vet revealed that there were no signs of the cancer. In fact, kea is now referred to as the “miracle dog” at the vet’s office!

It is now 24 months after his initial cancer diagnosis, and he is still strong.

Thank you so much for all that you have done for Kea. Whenever the opportunity arises, I highly recommend you to both humans and pets!

Sincerely,

Sharon Y.
