Liver Failure American Bulldog & Shar Pei Mix ♀ Molly 11 years old

Molly is an 11 year old American Bulldog/Shar Pei mix. At the end of March, she had a sudden onset of vomiting and loss of appetite. Concerned, we took her in to see our vet. A blood test was done and it revealed that Molly was in liver failure. Some of the test results were over 20 times the normal. It was recommended that we do an Ultrasound.

Thankfully, the Ultrasound showed no tumor or sign of cancer but it did show an abnormal liver. The vet thought it could be Hepatitis, which can possibly be treated with medicine and a special diet for the liver. We didn’t want to treat Molly with medicine because we were afraid that it could have other side effects and cause more problems. Since we have had such wonderful results from Dr. Yoza with our dog “Ahi”, our first thought was to start taking Molly to see him too. The very next day Molly started her treatments with Dr. Yoza. He also started her on some of Dr. Chi’s supplements. Molly takes Liver Chi and Cordyceps Extract twice a day and visits Dr. Yoza 2-3 times per week.

Molly started showing instant results to us. She seemed to have more “pe” and energy. Her appetite was back and she had no more vomiting. Her stool that was soft went back to normal again. We really felt we were doing the right thing even though it was against what our vet recommended. We decided that we would have her blood test redone in a month to see if the levels were at least headed down somewhat. If there was no change we would consider the vet’s recommendation.

Molly had her blood retested on May 4th. We could hardly wait for results. What a surprise we had when we got them! All we hoped for was a decline in the values just so we would know we were doing the right thing for Molly. The results were as follows:

March 28, 2017 May 4, 2017 Nomal Range
ALT 2189 33 12 – 118
ALT Phosphatase 2848 138 5 – 131
Total Bilirubin 0.8 0.2 0.1 – 0.3
Cholesterol 720 232 92 – 324

These results are beyond amazing. She is no longer in liver failure. It is a miracle to have results like this so quickly. The vet is completely astonished. We did not change Molly’s diet or give her any medication. She simply had Dr. Yoza’s treatments and Dr. Chi’s supplements. Dr. Yoza and Dr. Chi saved Molly’s life. We are so thankful and blessed to have Dr. Yoza in our lives. He has truly healed our Molly girl and we can’t express our gratitude enough.
